Homeowners search for free. There is no account, no sign-up and no questionnaire. You type a trade and a town, you get a list of real businesses with real phone numbers, and you call whoever you want. We never sell your details, because we never collect them.
The SteelToe App runs in your browser. There is no app to install, no update to approve and no storage to give up. We would never ask you to choose between your baby pictures and our app.

Most directories treat trades as inventory to be sold to homeowners. This one is built the other way round.
Not a redirect, not a nofollow, an ordinary followed link from a directory page about your business. If you have a website, that link is worth having. If you don't, just add a phone number or social media link, and the listing becomes your website.
Someone searching for a roofer in your town is not browsing. There is no bidding for their attention and no charge when they call you.
Plenty of the people reading a plumber's listing are other tradespeople: a builder who needs a sparky on Tuesday, a shop looking to hire someone who already does the work. The directory is as useful for finding a subcontractor or an employee as it is for finding someone to fix a tap.
