Ask whether the agency is licensed or registered in your state and ask to see it. Ask what background checking and training carers receive, and whether the same carer comes each time, because continuity matters enormously to the person receiving care. Ask what happens when your regular carer is ill or on holiday, and how a concern gets raised and answered.
