The usual work is replacing worn tires, repairing punctures where the damage is in the repairable area, seasonal changeovers, balancing and rotation. Mobile fitters bring the machine to you, which suits a car that should not be driven on the tire it has.
Ask whether the price includes fitting, balancing, new valves and disposal of the old tires, since a headline tire price often excludes all four. Ask whether they can reset the pressure monitoring system, which most modern cars need. If a puncture is near the sidewall, expect it to be unrepairable and be suspicious of anyone who says otherwise.
